mukha and i love this place! there is a little jungle to hike through, a lake to swim in, open space to run through and lots of dogs to play with! i love walking through the forest with mukha. she always runs ahead and investigates and after some time she comes back to make sure i'm still around and then goes on to explore some more, it's really cute. she does this over and over. so of course, sometimes i like to hide a little from her and see what she does! usually i just stop on the side of the trail and wait, or turn down a path a little. i always stay where she can find me though, because one time i 'hid' too well but i could see her and she started panicking! i just want her to be happy so i don't go too far away anymore. anyway.. it's just fun to watch her. sometimes she tracks me really fast, sometimes she goes back and forth a few times before she finds me. the time it takes her to notice i'm not around varies also..

ft desoto dog beach

mukha and i love this dog beach! it's an off leash dog beach on the west coast of florida, on an island south of saint petersburg, in fort desoto park.

last sunday it was so nice and sunny and the beach was packed. we went to the far (west) end for the first time, usually we unload at the first entrance.

mukha and her new little friend, jack. he's 14 weeks old :)
jack was giving everyone high fives. mukha is 2 1/2 years old and didn't know how to do hi 5's! she was jealous! but..
she just learned how to do it today after working on it yesterday and today!
she's so smart! i don't think she'll ever be too old to learn new tricks.
